HELEN OXENHAM: Leaving the world a better place?
Service to country and community comes in many forms. For Helen Oxenham it has been a lifelong campaign against domestic violence. .. starting in her own Dublin childhood. On arrival in Adelaide Helen worked to set up one of the first women’s shelters here. Despite the heavy cost to herself, Helen refused to be defeated. We’ll hear her inspiring story on Service Voices today.

HEART FOUNDATION WALKING GROUP: Along the Torrens Trail
Keeping healthy can be as simple as a brisk stroll on a regular basis somewhere in your neighbourhood. Even better when done with a group of like-minded people. The elements of fresh air, change of scenery, activity, companionship, having someone to chat with, and socialising afterwards over a cuppa every Tuesday morning all combine nicely for an eclectic group of women.
