Thursday 01 January - Thursday 31 December, 2015
The State Library of South Australia
Corner North Terrace and Kintore Avenue
Between 2014-2018, the State Library will host a number of exhibitions relating to WW1. These will include exhibitions of the Library’s material, such as an ANZAC 100th Anniversary exhibition in March 2015; and exhibitions from external exhibitors such as the Red Cross Women in War.
The current exhibition in our Treasures Wall, South Australians and World War 1 includes items from our collections such as paintings, maps, photographs, pages from original journals, and even realia such as a boot polish tin used to store letters and telegrams to and from a WW1 soldier and his family.
