Veterans SA will embark on a two-day outreach visit to the Riverland in November 2021.

The visit has been planned with the support of local councils and support organisations to connect veterans and their families in the Riverland with support services.

The Veterans SA team will be joined by representatives from Australian Partners of Defence (APOD), the Legacy Club of South Australia & Broken Hill, Open Arms, the Partners of Veterans’ Association, Plympton Veterans’ Centre, RSL South Australia and Soldier On, who will be available to local veterans and their families to provide services and support.

Veterans SA Director, Catherine Walsh, said, “Our team is excited to connect with and support veterans and their families in the Riverland, as well as local businesses, organisations and the local community.

“Through these important regional outreach visits, our agency is able to gather invaluable information and feedback that allows us to plan for meaningful and helpful support to South Australian veterans across the state.”

The Riverland visit will begin in Berri on Thursday 18 November and will continue in Loxton on Friday 19 November.
