The Veterans SA Strategic Outlook outlines the commitment that our agency will take over the next 10 years to lay the foundations for a strong, vibrant, well-supported and represented veteran community in South Australia.
Through the delivery of the strategic aims and outcomes outlined in the plan, we are ensuring that the wider South Australian community understands and acknowledges veterans and their families, inclusive of all generations, genders and service experience.
Our Strategic Outlook was developed following consultation and feedback with key stakeholders within the veteran community, as well as significant input from the wider veteran community and their families.
By 2031 Veterans SA will be recognised as a leading organisation that strongly advocates for veterans and their families at all levels of government and within the wider South Australian community.
The plan is underpinned by four pillars by which we will deliver the strategic aims and outcomes.
Through evidence-based approaches…
- We commit to the ongoing consideration of the veteran experience in policy creation.
- To create and encourage a forward aspiring community to advocate for better outcomes for South Australian veterans and their families as they continue to evolve.
- We will engage with the South Australian community to support the understanding that those who serve, and their families, actively contribute to the benefit of the community.
- We will empower the South Australian community to honour this service and sacrifice.
