Veterans SA delivers and supports a wide range of events for the veteran community. These events provide opportunities to connect, commemorate, learn and engage with programs, services and initiatives that strengthen the wellbeing of current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families. Our calendar includes activities hosted by Veterans SA as well as events supported by the agency and organised by community organisations across South Australia.
Upcoming events and programs
The Careers and Conversations sessions are back for 2026. Facilitated by the Human Quotient Group, the sessions are designed to connect partners of current and former serving ADF members with others, explore career tips and learn more about local community support services.
Date: Every fourth Monday of the month. The next event is being held on Monday 22 June 2026.

Veterans SA in partnership with Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) invites veterans, partners of serving personnel and working-age children of veteran families to attend a practical, in-person workshop designed to support your employment goals.
Hear from Veterans SA, DMFS, APOD and Busy Group about employment pathways, training opportunities and services available, including financial support.
This small, supportive session is a great opportunity to connect with employment and industry representatives and explore your next steps.
