NEW GLENELG ANZAC MEMORIAL

The City of Holdfast Bay has contributed $11,000 to the Glenelg Anzac Memorial, which was installed in Moseley Square, Glenelg in mid-April 2015, in time to provide the focal point for this year’s Anzac Day commemorations in Glenelg.

The memorial was organized by the Plympton Glenelg RSL, and funded through a $33,000 Federal Government grant, ($11,000 from the City of Holdfast Bay), a State Government contribution of $5000 and $10,000 from the RSL.

The memorial pays tribute to every Australian who has served in the armed forces in any conflict.
