All members of the veteran community, including current and former serving members and their families, are invited to join in the 2019 DVA National 10,000 steps challenge.
This year the challenge is themed around the iconic land, sea and air battles that have been immortalised within Australian Second World War military history.

Challenge yourself to reach a new milestone, your colleagues to reach 10,000 steps per day or challenge other teams to improve on your best efforts. At the end of the day, it’s reaching your personal goals that provides the greatest rewards.
Commencing on Monday 11th November and finishing on Sunday 8th December, participants will record their daily steps on the official 10,000 steps website. Steps can be automatically uploaded or entered directly onto the website, options are available for participants who do not have access to the internet.
This year we introduce some new categories; the K9 category, where participants can walk with their dog. The Flying Solo category is for anyone who wants to challenge themselves and take part in the fun but not compete against other steppers. Why not get your family together to make up a team? You don’t have to take the most steps to be a winner, but you do need to “be in it” to share in the FUN.
