Australasian Soldiers Dardanelles Cenotaph Commemorative Service
The Dardanelles Cenotaph is the first significant memorial to those who lost their lives during the Gallipoli campaign. The cenotaph was unveiled by then Governor-General, Sir Ronald Munro Ferguson on 7 September 1915, while troops were still fighting on the Gallipoli Peninsula.
