American Australian Association – 2019 Australia to USA Veteran Scholarship Opportunities

The American Australian Association (AAA) has provided the following information regarding the 2019 Australia to USA Veteran Scholarship Opportunities.

Established in 1948, the AAA is the leading privately funded non-profit organization dedicated to deepening and strengthening cooperation and understanding between the institutions and people of the United States and Australia. Our mission supports events and activities which focus our engagement and philanthropy around four core pillars: Business and Innovation, Education, Veterans and the Arts.

Since 2002, AAA scholarships and grants have provided support to young Americans and Australians to undertake transformational educational study, research and professional or artistic development in each other’s country. To date, the AAA has awarded over 800 Graduate, Veteran and Art scholarships and grants worth $10 million.

Round 1 (Australia to USA) of the American-Australian Veterans’ Fund (AAVF) is currently CLOSED.  We will provide information about further rounds as it becomes available.

This scholarship round will support honorably discharged Australian veterans, undertaking or interested in undertaking, Undergraduate or Graduate level study in the United States for a minimum of one-year in any disciplinary field. Scholarships awarded will be up to a maximum of US$50,000 which may be used to support travel, living, tuition or other associated costs. The closing deadline for Round 1 – Australia to USA is March 17, 2019.
