Since 2014, the Anzac Day Commemoration Fund has been providing funding to support initiatives that educate the South Australian community about the significance of Anzac Day or commemorate Australia’s military heritage.

Seven ex-service organisations and community groups from across South Australia have secured funding from the 2022-2023 grant rounds for a range of projects across the state.

Goodwood Saints Football Club $2,000 Anzac Day Commemorative service and football match in partnership with the Unley RSL highlighting the significance of the Goodwood Oval cork trees

Dutton Park Inc. $3,900 Kapunda Memorial Gardens rejuvenation project to commemorate 100 years since establishment of the gardens.
Defence Shed Port Adelaide $6,830 Establishment of art-therapy table and upgrades to facility (painting).
RSL Care SA $6,300 Production of sculpture of purple poppies to be placed at Romani Aged Care at Murray Bridge – reflecting Battle of Romani and animals who served.
Mount Pleasant RSL Sub-Branch $2,350 Placement of World War One commemorative plaque.
Macclesfield RSL Sub-Branch $9,735 Installation of service specific decorated bench seating around Macclesfield Community War Memorial.
Barmera RSL Sub-Branch $1,525 Anzac Day display in Barmera shop window and school visits to educate the local community about the significance of Anzac Day.
