Fourteen South Australian community and ex‑service organisations have been selected to receive funding through the Federal Government’s 2025-26 Saluting Their Service (STS) Commemorative Grants Program.

In this round, 72 organisations nationwide will share in more than $1.3 million to deliver projects honouring the service and sacrifice of Australia’s veterans.

South Australian projects funded in this round total more than $200,000, supporting community grants including upgrades to memorials, new commemorative features, restoration of historic structures and the creation of reflective community spaces that help preserve Australia’s military history.

Coromandel Community Centre Inc. will also embark on an exciting project, after receiving $100,703.12 for the construction of a Memorial Walk of Honour. This project will include a stone stairway, commemorative plaques and a landscaped garden recognising Australian service personnel since World War II.

The Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program delivers Community Grants of up to $10,000 and Major Grants of up to $150,000 to support local commemorative initiatives across the country.
